On the ridge overlooking the pasture, we once cut down a black hickory tree. The stump we left sprouted into a bush now, and it need to be cut down again with a chainsaw.
Ideally the whole stump would be cut low enough that we could mow over it with the shredder and not the stopped by the stump. If that's not possible, we might have to log a separate issue for the burning project.
The cuttings from this 'bush' have to be put in a new pile. We should start one in the pasture somewhere out of the way, away from other piles, but where we can chip them some day.
