After reviewing the manual with @HartStokes, we agreed to do most of the "8 Hour PM" specified, lubing 3 grease ports and reversing the blades.
Missing the info that @HartStokes was going to post, but I think the need was for a 1" socket that isn't 'deep' and fits directly on a 1/2" socket wrench. I purchased such a thing and hung it on the wall in the garden shed.

PM is a common abbreviation for "Preventive Maintenance". In this case it means to lube all the grease ports, and change the oil if it has an oil reservoir.
We also (not part of regular PM) need to reverse the blade. The blade is double sided, so you can use one side, flip it around and use the other, then sharpen both sides. We've used only one side, so we just need to figure out how to flip it around.
