Install timer switch on downstairs bathroom exhaust fan #93

The same timer we have in the upstairs hallway bathroom is available for the downstairs bathroom.

  1. Turn the exhaust fan ON, as well as the other lights in the bathroom and shower.
  2. Shut off the right breaker (in the boys' room) so that the exhaust fan goes off.
  3. Note whether the lights also go off from the same breaker, because this will tell you whether there's anything 'hot' in the lightswitch panel.
  4. Remove the lightswitch panel without losing the screws.
  5. See Dada for the new switch and lightswitch panel to be installed.
