Voice Narrator Details

A Voice Narrator is a program that allows visually impaired users to hear what is on a computer screen. It reads on-screen text, dialog boxes, menus, and buttons aloud if speakers or a sound output device is installed.

Bug Description

When navigating the Palmetto restaurant website with a voice narrator there is no manner in which a visually impaired person can access the menu.

Expected Behavior

As a visually impaired visitor to the Palmetto restaurant site I would expect that I would be able to access the menu with a voice narrator.

Actual Behavior

From the Palmetto restaurant website, while using a voice narrator, I was unable to access any menu options under the menu option at the header.

Steps to Discover Issue

  1. Navigate to Palmetto Oakland
  2. Enable the Voice Narrator by pressing CTRL+WINDOW+ENTER.
  3. At the "Skip to Content" option press Enter.
  4. Press Tab in order to access the options in the Header.
