Deletes Panel an Applets #2

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Execute gconf-cleaner
2. and follow the path

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It all went well but after I rebooted the computer the other day all
applets on gnome-panel where gone and also the bottom gnome panel.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

gconf-cleaner=0.0.2-1-0.1 on Foresight Linux 1.2.1 (I did the packaging)

Please provide any additional information below.

Hmm, can you reproduce that issue after restoring your gconf keys if you have
saved
your gconf keys before cleaning up? if yes, can I see what the kind of gconf
keys are
gone if you like? I can then consider to add them to the black list.

For another way, you may want to try the latest version of gconf-cleaner from
svn
though. FWIW actually I have some applets running on the panel and I don't see
those
gconf keys on gconf-cleaner.

On Natty Narwhal x64, the Unity sidebar disappears after applying G Conf
cleaner but is subsequently restored on reboot. The cleaner has been installed
via repos.
