A question about this emulator that uses dosbox #2351

I've been using this browser based emulator with dosbox in it (https://www.emulatrix.net/) and was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to run hdi files on it because I want to play touhou on it

This is a question for @yksoft1 who I recall sometime back did manage to compile DOSBox-X with Emscripten to run in the browser.

@yksoft1 How's your Emscripten build? Does it still work? Here's someone who wants to use it.

PC-98 Touhou games don't need to be stored in HDI to work with DOSBox-X. However, most Emscripten filesystems don't have proper DBCS filename support, you have to decompress EXE files of Touhou and change such referenced filenames to ASCII only ones. I did that for TH2-5 and you can try them here. https://yksoft1.github.io/dosboxxem-demo/

because it has .io in the url I have to wait until I get home to use it

also I have no idea what at least half the words you said meant

ok so I can't use this on the device I wanted because of the .io in the url but it's still pretty cool
