windows 98 cd-rom #2415

Describe the bug No REAL CDROM drive (not image) in windows 98. If i add the hdd img without booting the CDROM drive is working but the windows don't start.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Bootable windows 98 hdd image.
  2. Boot the hdd image.
  3. No real CDROM drive.
  4. See error

Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

DOSBox-X supports IDE emulation, although at this time only from disk or CD images, not folder or CD mounts. Supporting folder or CD mounts for IDE emulation may be possible, but will be more complicated than disk or CD images. But thanks for your suggestions.
