i am running a Windows 10 Tablet PC with touch and pen, but touch screen seems to be broken in Dosbox-X is touchscreen supported?

SDL1 builds do not support touch screen events, only the mouse and keyboard.

SDL2 builds are far better suited for touchscreen input.

If the mouse is captured, then DOSBox-X cannot emulate relative motion properly from touchscreen and you will need to use the mouse.
