Add the CMS emulation to the SB 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 #2763

In 86Box it is now possible to simulate the CMS on SB 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0: is that helpful for the development of DOSBOX-X?

Certainly, if not already there.

On 86Box you can emulate the Soundblaster and Game Blaster in parallel and whether the MPU401 is used by the selected sound card or the MPU401 card from Roland.

Could you also implement that on DOSBOX-X?

RNMB15 commented 3 years ago

could you add your own option for the game blaster emulation on the DOSBOX conf at [sblaster], where you can activate the game blaster emulation? because the Game Blaster and Sound Blaster are available in parallel. And could you add your own option to the DOSBOX conf at [sblaster] that you can activate the CMS (creative music system) if the 'sbtype' is set to Sound Blaster?

I found something on the subject at dosbox-staging: https://github.com/dosbox-staging/dosbox-staging/issues/2136 @Allofich can you do something here?

CMS emulation should be already there by default if emulating a SB 1.0, 1.5 or 2.0.

It would also be nice to be able to configure the DOSBOX-X in such a way that the CMS can also be emulated with SB16, SBAWE32/64 or ESS.
