Describe the bug
Prerequisite:
Windows 10
Widescreen monitor. (I have a 4K TV used as a monitor)
DOSBOX-X 0.83.17
Whenever Fullscreen mode is started, parts of the screen above and below are lost behind the monitor area.
Probably, some scaling bug. Overscan mode is disabled. Tried every scaler type and output mode.
The lost area is about half of the VGA-text character height, which makes status data in games lost, and the shell input is also half-invisible.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Optional. Get a 4K monitor or TV
Install dosbox-x
Set "keep aspect ratio"
Go to Fullscreen
See the top and bottom lines lost, image overscaled.
Expected behavior
The emulated DOS-machine screen should be scaled inside the image area of the monitor.
Similar problem - 4K with 250% scaling in Windows - DOSbox-X 2023.05.01 (build from 2023-05-24, I think) result is left/right parts of the text to be cut. I think I used default .conf.
