Your posted config file is for the Direct3D output, but with the settings output=opengl
, glshader=crt-lottes
, I noticed there is indeed a difference between aspect=true
and aspect=false
on my computer, which means the aspect ratio correction is still in effect with the GLSL shader. Seems that I cannot reproduce the said issue here.
I am having the same issue:
[render]
aspect = true
aspect_ratio = -1:-1
doublescan = false
scaler = none
glshader = pixellate
pixelshader = none
With this config, the aspect ratio stretches based on window size. Changing the glshader from pixellate
to none
makes the aspect ratio correct. This does not happen with Direct3D shaders.

Describe the bug
Turning on OpenGL shaders stretches the aspect ratio even if aspect ratio correction is on.
Expected behavior
Aspect ration is 4:3 with no stretching.
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
Used configuration
Emulator log
Additional context
Direct3d shaders work fine and don't stretch the aspect ratio.
