Hi all. I'm trying to run the PC98 touhou games using dosbox-x on a windows 10 machine as follows: I have a folder with all of my disk images and I load them using [autoexec] at the bottom of the dosbox-x.conf file. Here is what I have
[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.
imgmount d ..\disks\th01e.hdi
d:
game
exit
I am trying to make it so that when I exit the game, dosbox also quits out, but no matter what I've tried the dosbox command box will remain on screen, and I will have to type exit manually. Does anyone have a solution for this?

If you run a bat file in a bat file, the first bat file will be terminated.
That's how DOS works (and even for Windows as well).
Try call game.bat instead of game.
