Error whilist trying to install windows 95 #4655

Describe the bug

i have dosbox installed on Arch linux. i was following the steps of the guide, but when i try running setup the whole dosbox instance crashes. I attach the console log.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. follow this guide up until the setup part https://dosbox-x.com/wiki/Guide%3AInstalling-Windows-95
  2. run setup, either from the disk image or the copied data on the virtual hard drive
  3. it crashes

Expected behavior

It should proceed with instalation as normal, i didnt had this issue when i did the same on windows

There is a crash bug in Linux version such as #4482, #4592. Try building the latest commit or revert to an older version.
