No audio on Carmageddon Max Pack

Question

Carmageddon has no audio whatsoever on DOSBox-X, but has audio in regular DOSBox. Tried using the SNDSETUP.EXE tool to solve the problem and it did not work. Checked that the sound settings DOSBox-X is using match those of the regular DOSBox install the game comes with, they are, yet the sound doesn't work.

I also noticed DOSBox-X crashes when exiting the game but I found it sometimes does the same on regular DOSBox.

Win10 Pro (64-bit) Using DOSBox-X v.2024.03.01, tried both SDL1 and 2
