System requirements for DOSBox-X #5071

Question

I ask out of curiosity. What are the minimum and recommended system requirements for DOSBox-X in general? By general, I mean actions, as I see it there are 13 actions, some for PC and some for Mac.

Have you checked that no similar question(s) exist?

Actions (nightly/development builds) requirements are the same as for the releases.

Roughly - for the current/modern host operating systems - DOSbox-X will run on the same computers that the respective host OS works.

Going from the modern OSes backwards, around Vista/XP you'll need more than the minimum memory. Requirements are mentioned here for HX and I assume the memory amounts apply for the other builds as well.

Minimum CPU for lowend9x and LOADLIN builds seems to be Pentium. What's the minimum for HX, XP, regular builds?

@Torinde I understand. By actions I meant for example VS build for ARM32, MinGW build for Win64, et cetra. When I said actions, I unfortunately used the wrong word, I didn't know which word to use. :)
