12 years ago Thank you for your suggestion and encouragement. You are very right about about the lack of documentation. Since your comment I have added more tutorials to cover various aspects of jCombo. I have decided to make tutorials short and focus on narrow topics - I'm following the 'learning by doing' philosophy. As for building a community; that will take time and there can't be a community until there is sufficient documentation to get people started. I hope that the recently added tutorials will help, I plan to add more in the near future.
Hello, not really a code issue but more of a suggestion. In my search for some frameworks designed with ajax development in mind i came across jcombo which looks very promising but unfortunately seems to have very few activity surrounding it. Although commits are recent, searching google for it barely brings anybody talking about it. I believe if there were better docs, more examples (maybe even the "infamous" blog tutorial most frameworks use as example with some emphasis on how jcombo does things) then the project could possibly gain more momentum and hopefully more community involved. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work.
