We are having a lot of troubles building this codec in mingw/msys to a probably
stack alignment problem. If you find a way to get working library for this
codec, let us know :)

Actually, I have a *mostly* working version of speex going right now. The part
that isn't is just the Windows audio playback (through speexdec). Encoding and
decoding are working. I haven't tested it quite yet w/ the gstreamer plugins -
but I anticipate they'll work fine. For me, speexdec crashes in waveOutOpen()
when I playback a sample. Could be an issue w/ my audio driver, though...
The new builds are based off a custom GCC I built myself (v4.5.2 prerelease).
I'm trying to finish all of them ASAP for inclusion in the next beta release.
But speex has been deliberately left out until the build's working again. You
can still build against it (the source/dlls are still in the repo.), it's just
deliberately left out of the installers b/c it's known to be bad right now.
If this new build pans out, look for it to be included in the next beta release.
