I think I have the andriod changes in place, but there are issues with the cmake process so that the changes are not being used properly in OD. I am getting there slowly and will retrofit any changes back into frontend2 if they may sense for other plugins.

Could it be that glshim is needed? I believe bdbcat added that in climatology. I know nothing about glshim and why it might be needed.
