Completed

  1. Copied ALL the interment records from the file folders from Brush Creek's office! @laurenmcguigan is continuing her mark up work, we agreed that if she is
  2. Discussed re-naming our picture files for easier management and reference
  3. @laurenmcguigan uploaded our own XML skeleton for reference! We intend on converting it into TEI Epidoc once we have better understanding of it and come up with a proper model.
  4. Noted that WE NEED TO ALWAYS DO A GIT PULL FIRST when we attempt to use the Git Shell so we do not have to worry about crazy errors.

For Next Time - Friday of next week.

  5. Re-name and check our picture files to make sure we will be able to revise them.
  6. Create some HTML and CSS examples so we can settle on our website style.
  7. Prepare for possible discussion of how we can create our clickable map(s) for the project.

@jonhoranic @laurenmcguigan @JaredKramer40 You're making great progress! I've been looking at EpiDoc and realizing it's got elements that are probably more complicated than what you need, but I want to suggest looking at the TEI models for personography, too: Let's take a look at Chapter 13 of the TEI Guidelines: http://www.tei-c.org/release/doc/tei-p5-doc/en/html/ND.html I think we can connect some modules of the TEI together here.

I'd like to get together with your team pretty soon to help out with the TEI implementation, so let me know when a good moment for that will be next week.
