We have identified some useful pre-reading ahead of our next session: Chapter 11 (Confidence intervals) from Petrie and Sabin.^MI do like 2-page chapters! You will see that it mentions the bootstrap that we explored briefly in session 06.^MIt would also be helpful to me if you could have a quick look at the Wikipedia page on 'maximum likelihood estimation', following at least^Mone link to a term you don't understand.
