3 years ago - they found thinking in terms of mechanisms (rather than populations) a bit abstract, and I didn't have good enough examples of this
- likelihood ratios introduced too early?
- need an exercise on Population and Sample page?
- it didn't need the full three hours
- Dewey / Truman works but is quite text heavy -- visualise?
- sampling variation good
- sampling distn of the mean good
- questions worked well
- bootstrap good, but can we make it more visual?
- really hard to tell how they are doing on the exercises
- central limit theorem nice, but the exercise is too open-ended?
