Redshift adjusts the color temperature of your screen according to your surroundings. This may help your eyes hurt less if you are working in front of the screen at night.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It's not apparent to the user that redshift-gtk is waiting for an initial location after being started. When launching the application at night this may make it seem to the user as if redshift-gtk wasn't working properly (because the screen color doesn't change immediately). This situation is further worsened by the fact that clicking on the tray icon during this time, will cause redshift to crash (#852).
Describe the solution you'd like
Having a separate icon that indicates that redshift is currently waiting for location information (with a matching tooltip) could indicate to the user that redshift is indeed working, but is still waiting for location information before changing the screen color.
