jonls / redshift

Redshift adjusts the color temperature of your screen according to your surroundings. This may help your eyes hurt less if you are working in front of the screen at night.

Can redshift work only on one display? Could this feature be easily added? #866

I really like redshift. However, I use two monitors, and one of them already has a convenient "reader mode". So, I'd like to configure redshift to change the colors only of one display.

I found no such option on the man. Is there one? (I am running redshift via cli, not via gui, if that makes a difference)

If not, is it hard to implement? I know of another project that does change colors independently, so I presume it is feasible, if not easy. (https://github.com/lordamit/Brightness)

Thanks for cool program, sorry to bother

Well, I just found my answer, in the config file!

For any other wanderers needing it: http://jonls.dk/redshift/ (search for configuration file)

(you look for something for years. Then you decide to ask about it. Then you find the answer in 3 minutes ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
