A method to adaptively find the right hard threshold #5

I think it would be nice if, in the case where the SS object is provided with
spontaneous data, it could search the magnitude of the waveforms therein and
come up with its own hard threshold (maybe even positive AND negative) for
action potentials. This could be the upper and lower lines that contain 98
percent of of the spontaneous spikes. This way the choice of the hardthreshold
is not so arbitrary.
