Pop os use io.elementary.appcenter (pop shop). It is not clear how to find the correct name for that app to place in extensions settings.

I remove the broken links in pop os, replaced the icon with pop os logo in this fork https://github.com/dstorozhuk/gnome-system-menu

A proper solution for this extension to work well on different distros, would be to check for certain commands and choose the existing one, even allowing to change the defaults in the settings. Unfortunately I do not really have time to implement it. If you want to provide Pull Requests I would be available to review, merge and publish them.

See #6, too. It is another example.
