A Two.JS web-app to liven up parties all over the world #112

Hi,

I wanted to share with you an audio-visualisation web-app I’ve been working on with Two.JS

Boom Boom Boom! is an audio visualisations app to brighten up parties all over the world.

Throw up graphics, animations, text, photos and effects using your mobile device or keyboard as a controller, or leave it to play in time with the music.

The app uses web-technologies including the Web Audio API to analyse audio from the mic, Web-Sockets on a Node.js server to handle device—desktop interaction, and CSS3 and Two.js to control visuals.

I started working on this as a project to learn more about the Web Audio API and Web Sockets, and to keep busy after I was made redundant a month ago… It’s completely non-commercial, and also public on Github for anyone to change and play around with as they wish.

I’ll be launching on Friday, and it would be awesome to get your feedback.

Also I'm the guy who's question you answered on StackOverflow with the problem removing Illustrations... thanks for replying and fixing the bug. I didn't see the problem again, but now I have implemented the Illustrations in a different way. :)

Cheers,

Also appologies for posting this as an 'issue', but I couldn't fine the submit option on the projects page of Two.js

This is rad! Do you mind if I share it? I'd also love to add it to the two.js projects page. Great work!

Awesome,

Really glad you like it. :)

Okay so I'm going to launch it tomorrow... So I'd love if you share it, but not just yet.

I'll fire you another mail tomorrow to confirm when everything is ready to go.

Cheers, and greetings from the Berlin Landwehr Canal. ;)

Sounds good. I'll share on your mark.

Hey,

So everything is ready to go now (I delayed a few days because of 4th July), and I’d be very happy for you to share it and put it on the projects page, but please tag me in it on Twitter. — @isjackwild

Also I’m still pretty new to programming, I’ve been doing it around 9 months, so any feedback / suggestions / pointers would be really appreciated. I have a background in Design and Concept Development and now I’m going down the path of visual programming. Which is awesome.

Cheers.

Jack.
