Bee related blocks can never be crafted since no beehives generate on trees. Another consequence of this is that no bees are ever seen in the world.

Add a chance that some trees (preferably plains or biomes where bees live) will have beehives on them.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I have considered giving out bee hives to players, but it is cumbersome and unscalable from my end, not to mention it takes away from how the base game was supposed to be enjoyed.
