However, it seems to be lacking some features. I've tested it with Monokai Extended and Seti_UX, even worked with the Seti_UX dev to bring better support, but it seems that it comes down to some missing highlighting capabilities in Markdown Extended.
As of now, when I open a file like this, there are several missing elements including, bot not limited to:
strikethrough
[x] This is a complete item
[ ] This is an incomplete item
:sparkles: :camel: :boom:
