Shell Script Highlighting #33

Open Argon- opened 10 years ago

The highlighting for shell scripts seems to be a bit off, partially random. Is it just me? screen shot 2014-05-19 at 23 34 56

you're right, it does look off. I'll probably need some help on this one since I'm not that familiar with the syntax - e.g. I could do it, but I won't have a sense for when it looks right or not

Well, I myself am no sh expert nor do I know anything about the highlighter. :/ When I'm looking at my shell config files, it feels like everything colored orange is off. It might be fine if the orange parts were white. What is orange supposed to indicate in the first place?

jzelenkov commented 10 years ago

Good point. As far as I remember, orange is used for marking function and method arguments names. I can have a look at this sometime this week.

This is under development yet? I can help you to understand bash (zsh) language. But I know almost nothing about the themes sintax. I have a project for hilight spice sintax but I am not a wizzard.
