get Radio Text (RT) from audio streaming OR from text file

i got my radio automation application that is playing audio trough jack audio server (on the same machine where i wish to run JMPX), and do not whant to make an istance of vlc running to waste cpu. But teh JMPX feature to update RT from external source is interesting, so i'm thinking to write some kind of text file with the strring to send to rds ....

maybe could be a parameter of JMPX settings (from vlc streaming/file/none) ...

Something like setting RT and others via fifo pipe would be great.
