MacFUSE-Core-10.5-1.0.0 with latest ntfs-3g for 10.5 not able to write to ntfs volumes #289

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Will try to mount the volume using ntfs-3g
2. Volume mount will hang and not show up on desktop so I navigate to view
the volume and command-i will show i have read/write access to the volume
3. When I try to move a file over, I get a message back "You cannot copy
some of these items to the destination because their names are too lng for
the destination. Do you want to skip copying these items and continue
copying the other items? (i copied over a file called info.txt with some
phone numbers in it to check)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Being able to copy over files to the ntfs formatted volume.
I can delete files, but not copy complete files over.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

There have been so many packagings/distributions of ntfs-3g that it's not
realistic for me to offer support on
such issues, unless you identify (or help identify) it as a MacFUSE problem. I
don't use ntfs-3g myself, so that
doesn't help either.

My suggestions:

* Repost this on the macfuse-devel forum, and hopefully someone can help.
* Repost this on the ntfs-3g support forum, and hopefully someone can help.
* Try the just released MacFUSE Core 1.1 and see if it's better.
* If you can identify your problem as a MacFUSE issue, feel free to again open
a formal issue report here.
