Thanks @brianteeman for your PR. If it is possible, could you please change your PR to target 4.0-dev branch? The reason is because the master branch is version of weblinks for Joomla 3.x, and as you already knew, is now end of life. All the recent and future development of weblinks will be for 4.0-dev branch only (we will rename that branch to something else and make it become default branch).
