I've added some initial support and released it. This at least gets most the views up and running. Let me know if you have any issues and I'll try and fix them :)
@wilsonge Why not to use and improve the version from infograf789? https://github.com/infograf768/j4localise (if he agrees) As I said in French in his issue tab, file names must start with a capital letter in the "Fields" folder
I tried your version on a J4RC5-dev and very few translation files are displayed.
Can't believe this is now proposed as an update... @fontanil Valc and I are working on https://github.com/infograf768/j4localise and almost there.
We now just released a beta5 as it was urgent to cope with new strings containing :
in the key.
https://github.com/infograf768/j4localise/releases/tag/5.0.0-beta5
This 4.10 version created by @wilsonge should be modified to not be proposed as an update to former version and should only be installable on a 3.x site. Many reasons for that: missing core strings, github no more present as default in J4 core and much more.
@wilsonge We can move our work here as a 5.0-dev branch if we get help to do so.
@wilsonge Also note that this package you have as "release" is installable on Joomla 3 because it seems that the "script.php" (install.php) that checks the version of Joomla and PHP is not currently included there (or not working or taking in mind the target version).
When on august i received the "update" from my translations site in Joomla 3, the com_localise became unusable, and come back to the the "com_localise for Joomla 3 version" cannot be done by reinstalling because it detects it as a "downgrade". So, only uninstalling com_localise and then reinstall again the "working on J3 of com_localise" can to solve. (and then is required ignore the "update" or we begin again)
Will there be localise for Joomla 4 and if so, when :-)? Anyone know something? It would be very useful right now.
