Won't install #146

Steps to reproduce the issue

do a completely new install and it just hangs at the first database check the console log shows

Joomla 4 from the main repo installs on the exact same server with no problem at all

System information (as much as possible)

Database Version | 8.0.18 PHP Version | 7.4.0 Apache/2.4.41 (Win64) mod_fcgid/2.3.10-dev

Does no one care that this cannot be installed on supported systems?

I think the bug is fixed. I just reinstalled everything and found no problem

Not for me :( are you using php 7.4 and mysql 8?
