Not sure where the best place is to raise this but here seems as good as any.

Several npm packages used in joomla require a level of manipulation on upgrade. They are not simply npm update

packages that I know are manipulated are jooa11y, tinymce, codemirror - and I'm sure there will be more.

We will then add those packages to exclusions in the renovate.json of the respective repo. In the end, merging the PRs has to be done by the maintainers. This is just to pester us all with updates and to prevent us from missing something important.
