Menu does not auto-collapse / loses it's state #452

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Click on the "Toggle menu" button to render the main admin menu in collapsed state.
  2. Click on any of the menu items ("articles" for example) to expand it
  3. Click anywhere outside the menu.

Expected result

At point 3 the menu is supposed to auto-collapse back, but it doesn't. Further more - if you click on the "X" button of the flyout menu, it closes, but the main menu loses it's state and get's back to not being collapsed by default.
