[4.2.6]Valid Image Formats (template options) vs. Legal Image Extensions (File Types) (Media Options) #39544

Steps to reproduce the issue

This issue is associated with the following issue: https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/39538

Displaying of SVG image in template (template logo) does not work, even both parameters include SVG:

Legal Image Extensions (File Types) (Media Options)

Valid Image Formats (template options)

Image

Expected result

SVG image will be displayed as template logo in case, both parameters include SVG

Actual result

No SVG image displayed

System information (as much as possible)

Joomla 4.2.6 PHP 8.1

should be closed as a duplicate of #39543

really no point in creating multiple issues for the same problem
