Joomla 3.8 compatibility #34

The changes make the library work with Joomla 3.8 while keeping backwards compatibility for older versions.

Thank you for the patch @danielsmink, we'll test it on our end too and merge then!

@danielsmink I put includes/framework.php back in to ensure we have loaded the entire application, and removed the import.php line, as framework.php is loading import.legacy.php. Tested this on 3.7 and 3.8 again released as v1.1.2.
