Recommendations are slow #1

I have to wait forever for the personalized recommendations to load.

Is this still the case? Currently I do not notice any (significant) delays.

They are working just fine, I assume that at the time of writing the server was the bottleneck, not the code.

The issue still sometimes arises. The recommendations make use of the data from the user profile. That goes a bit slow sometimes. solution 1: move to the faster user profile storage (easier for @rasvaan ) solution 2: take the relevant user profile entries as input (post data) and use those. (faster)

Should check if there is still a delay and how long it takes to load.
