might need review... I believe the package.json is correct but I wasnt sure if it matches the base or is compared against my old package.json

marking this as possible revert: ❌

tried npm run dev and page didnt break or throw error but didnt see render either. we'll talk about it tomorrow. I wanted to push the merge through for the updated readme, in case installs come through.
