Can't Download .AVI files in XBMC NAVI-X

1. What is the technical error you are experiencing?

When I try to download any HD movie that is an .AVI file, Navi will tell me 
that the file size is 0.0 MB and then will proceed on failing to download the 
file.   Navi will work fine with downloading any MP4 files. 

2. What steps will reproduce the problem?

From XBMC, start Navi, go to favorites, click on your movie channel, right 
click on movie you wish to download, click ok to download, wait for menu to ask 
you to start download now, click yes.

3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output is to be able to see the actual file size of the .AVI and 
then be able to download it when I press yes.  Instead, I see "Download Failed. 
 Retry?"

4. What version number of Navi-X are you using?

Navi-X 3.7.8

5. What media center platform, version and operating system are you using?

XBMC FRODO 12.2 on Mac OSX 10.8.3
