connection to server failed #793

Cannot use the search function. Google Earth report cannot be connected to 
server. It is not a firewall problem

Is this an issue with the Earth plugin or with the Google Earth desktop client? 
More specifics would be helpful, but it sounds like your issue might be better 
addressed in the product forum than in an issue tracker:

After 2-3 days I got mail (via forum) that the search function worked again and 
it do. Several people have had the problem but it is solved now, probably by 
Google
