If the prerender/"Predict network actions to improve page load performance"
option is enable in Google Chrome (24.x) the Google Earth plugin fails to
initiate.
error message
"There was a problem with the Google Earth Plugin.
Exit the browser completely (Cmd-Q on Mac; Alt-F x on Windows), then re-open
this page to see it in action.
If that doesn't help, you can re-install the Google Earth Plugin using this
link."
Refreshing the page correctly initiates the plugin. However, this is not part
of the error message.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. With prerendering enabled Google search "google earth hello world"
2. Select top link: the Google Earth api "hello world" demo
3. Most likely the page was prerendered, therefore you should receive the above
error message.
What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
Google Earth plugin to initiate.
Which plugin version are you using?
Version: 6.2.0.5788
Which browsers and operating systems are affected?
Google Chrome
Windows 7
