Installation Issue - Runtime Error! Program, R6002 - floating point not loaded #922

I am receiving an error during installation of Google Earth Pro Version 7.
Runtime Error! Program C:\Windows\system32\MsiExec.exe (R6002 - floating point
not loaded). If I click pass this error, the application seems to function.
Should I be concerned?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to http://earth.google.com/download-earth-pro.html
2. Download Latest Version (7.0)
3. Install Google Earth Pro by clicking on the setup.exe file.

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
Not receiving this error upon installation is what I expected; however, I saw a
Runtime Error! Program C:\Windows\system32\MsiExec.exe (R6002 - floating point
not loaded)

Which plugin version are you using?
Latest version (7.0)

Which browsers and operating systems are affected?
Windows 7 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit

Please provide any additional information (code snippets/links) below.
It seems as if you click pass this error the program works fine. The error
only appears on installation.

I have been getting this error on every install of our Google Earth Pro license
(we have about 8) on different computers with both Win XP and Win 7. This has
been happening for years on the current v7 version as well as previous versions.

Not sure what the problem is, but we ignore the error and the application seems
to run fine.

I am not aware of a solution. Since clicking past the error my users have not
reported any issues. It has been close to a year now.

This issue creates lots of problems for silent installs. Google Earth Pro was
designed for Enterprise environment. Enterprise environment rely on silent
installs.

This error message comes up on all machines even if C++ redistributable is
found. If c++ runtime is installed (Only if you are a developer), then this
error message does not come. If someone at Google is reading this, there is
your solution. This build needs a revisit. It installs with that error message.

In dire need of a solution and it's not just a few.
Thank you.

28oct2014 still getting R6002 error!!! in spite of all their money Google are
an amateur outfit. Also after many years if you open Chrome browser and start
typing the focus is not in the url window ... I was worried about buying an
Android phone because they are so unprofessional ...

Google Earth free works fine in windows technical preview, it's only the "paid
for" pro version that hangs on first start after clicking through floating
point error.

silent install hang:
in table "CustomAction" Action "SET_RES_READ_ONLY"
under Target search Value "[SystemFolder]attrib.exe" /S /D -R "[RES]*.*" and
change to "[SystemFolder]attrib.exe" /S /D -R "[INSTALLDIR]res\*.*"
