I would suggest that instead of passwords (#193) or removing the link to settings (#214), you add a simple delay when disabling eradication, e.g., 10 seconds. So that one has 10 seconds to still think about the quote shown and maybe decide to stop the timer (and thus keep eradication engaged) and continue be more productive.
