Since Twitter uses a virtual list / infinite scrolling thing, losing the scroll position when eradication kicks in means that if I disable eradication again my place is totally lost (just scrolled back to top of feed), and a post that was on screen is near impossible to find again.
I can see how making it more convenient to override/disable eradication when it kicks in can be sort of counterintuitive to the purpose, but a lot of times I'm reading and just about to interact with something and then poof, gone forever. Would be nice to have the option to disable for like 1min (or the existing 5min option) and finish what I was doing.
Alternatively/additionally, it might be nice to display a timer in the last minute or so before eradication will kick in, so that it's not totally without warning.
