Some apps take too long to start #119

I think this is due to a large number of ticks in the axes of the charts. It happens with MWD, Crystal, Gt, and React (at least on Windows).

I have commented out a few lines of code (function "set_axes_properties" in the Application.py file) that were increasing the loading time of some apps (including the Crystal app).
