data-input.py not directly executable

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Enter "/usr/local/measureit/python/data-input.py" at the shell prompt.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It runs as a shell script, which doesn't work because it's written in python.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 115 on Ubuntu 12.04.

Please provide any additional information below.
A patch to fix this is attached.  It adds a #! line and sets line-endings to be 
platform native.
