Weird behaviour When http metadata is not reachable #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Configure a source, check it's working
2. Configure metadata to be retrieved from a non reachable server 
http://totohgjjhgj.com
3. See the source disconnecting and the application non responding

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The source connection should not be affected by the http metadat not reachable

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

XP SP2

Edcast Standalone 3.33.2011.1026

Please provide any additional information below.

Maybe it's Fixed in the beta ?

No fix for this, I haven't seen it before. However, I'm not surprised, I really 
don't like very much of the "network" code in edcast.

If I can, I will fix it in the v3 series, however, it's more likely going to be 
fixed in the next major release - as that release is a ground up rewrite
