lat lon data missing from xml created with garmin_save_runs and garmin_dump #21

When getting data out of my Garmin Edge 305, sometimes the lat lon data is
missing.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. First I run garmin_save_runs from my ~/bin/garmin directory.
2. Next I cd 2009/11 and garmin_dump 20091119T141520.gmn > 20091119T141520.xml

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When reviewing the xml, the data for the whole ride is there at the top,
but much of the position, elevation, cadence, hr, etc. is missing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
garmintools-0.10 on Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty x64.

Please provide any additional information below.

When I fire up a Windows VM and check out the data using connect.garmin.com
it's all there.

Possibly a related issue. Using karmic x64 and garmintools-0.10-2 (iirc).
garmin_save_runs truncated or failed to properly download the last file on the
garmin
305 (EDGE, not forerunner). There were 5 years of data on the device. I
renamed the
truncated file and then deleted all but last 3 months of data on the device.
Then re-
ran garmin_save_runs. The complete file was then downloaded. Hope this helps
- great
tool here. Truncated file attached.

Same here, the last run on February 28th includes GPS data, the next one on
March 3rd don't.
No changes were made on the device, Ubuntu (10.10) got its normal updates.
